Requirements

SpiderCMS delivers all of the features and benefits of a world-class content management system: dynamic modules, advanced Administration capability and flexibility, role-based security, multilingual capability, all in an easy-to-use environment, which has 100 percent browser-based interface.

In short there are no requirements for the end-user; there are some requirements however, for the Server and for the Administrator and the Editors of the website. This section aims to enlighten you on these requirements.


 

Administrators

  • Processor System: Pentium 200-megahertz (MHz) or higher processor
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows NT® version 4.0 with Service Pack 6a (SP6a), Millennium Edition (Windows Me), Windows 2000 Professional, Windows 2000 Server, or Windows 2000 Advanced Server (together with the latest Service Packs or Security Update Patches)
  • Memory : 64 MB of RAM, 128 MB recommended
  • Web Browser: Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later


 

Server

  • Processor System: Pentium III-compatible or higher processor
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows® 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Advanced Server, (together with the latest Service Packs or Security Update Patches), Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0,Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Database: Microsoft SQL 2005/2008
  • Memory : 256 megabytes (MB) of RAM, 512 MB recommended
  • Hard Disk: 3 GB of available hard disk space on System Drive and 10 GB on installation drive
  • CD-ROM drive: Any Windows compatible CD-ROM drive
  • Display: VGA, Super VGA, or video graphics adapter—compatible with Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Advanced Server
  • Mouse: Microsoft Mouse, Microsoft IntelliMouse®, or compatible pointing device
  • Other Devices: Network adapter card
  • Web Browser: Internet Explorer 5.5 or later


Visitors
